This virtual program, designed for operating principals and practice leaders, will explore emerging firms that serve UHNW families that are attempting to meet the demand for integrated advisory services that address their clients’ complex and often unique needs. Building the necessary scale to meet that demand can involve tradeoffs in the firms’ organizational design, ownership structure, financial model, staff experience and client experience, so which firms will be successful? The UHNW Institute’s Women’s Leadership Summit: Preparing the UHNW Industry for the Female Decision-Maker and the Coming ‘Wealth Shift of the Century’ — This signature event, exclusively designed for women in wealth management, is a break from the majority of Women in Wealth industry topics. Instead, this premiere Summit is an opportunity to discuss the implications and hurdles associated with the impending ‘wealth shift,’ exchange ideas, share personal and professional experiences and build connections that support our growth and leadership.
Held April 30 – May 1, 2025, in Palm Beach, Florida, this inaugural event brings together female advisors, industry professionals and decision-makers to discuss the impact of the great wealth transfer, the expanding role of women in financial leadership and strategies for long-term success. With a carefully curated agenda, attendees will engage in discussions on topics such as:
- The Wealth Transfer of the Century — How the shifting of financial influence is shaping the industry
- Transitioning into Leadership Roles — Creating a roadmap to manage the expanding roles and responsibilities of women in firms, family offices and families
- The Great Balancing Act: The Sandwich Generation and the Roles We Play — Finding equilibrium as we help our teens launch, care for our aging parents, reach the pinnacle of our career and nurture our own relationships and well-being

Finally, the week of April 7, the Institute’s Emerging Leaders Cohort & Mentorship Program presented a pre-recorded webinar: The Mentor, The Mentee and Reverse Mentorship: Developing Successful Mentorship Programs for the UHNW Firm. Speakers Alexa Carbone with Ballentine Partners, Lisa Friedman, founder of LF Consulting LLC and a Principal Consultant at Springboard – Partners in Cross Cultural Leadership and Lisa Sivolella, First VP and Unit Manager at Alliant Insurance Services, discuss the benefits mentorship programs provide to employees and employers alike. The webinar aimed at mentees, mentors and firms looking to implement mentorship programs will include tips on how to be a better mentor, how to benefit from the mentee experience, mentorship as a career catalyst for growth in place, reverse mentoring and tips for launching or strengthening your firm’s Mentorship Program.
